Our veterinarian offers professional, compassionate consultations in the comfort of your home. Whether your pet needs a routine check-up, blood work, or a second opinion, we provide clear guidance and attentive care. We believe in personalized support and work closely with you to ensure your pet receives the best possible health and comfort.
Hospice care
At Until We Meet Again Veterinary Hospice & Euthanasia Services, we provide comforting end-of-life support through hospice care and in-home visits. Our hospice care focuses on pain relief, comfort, and emotional support. With house-call services, our doctor offers personalized exams, blood work, medications, and treatment plans in your pet’s familiar surroundings. A form and medical reports must be submitted in advance, and services start at $200, with additional fees for areas outside Richmond.
For families needing remote support, we offer Quality of Life online guidance and one-hour virtual consultations. These services help you understand your pet’s wellbeing and make informed decisions, with veterinarian input provided. While prescriptions are not included, we ensure compassionate assistance throughout the process. Virtual appointments require prior form submission and medical records, and are scheduled at least three days after review.
In-Home Euthanasia Services
At Until We Meet Again Veterinary Hospice & Euthanasia Services, we provide compassionate in-home euthanasia to ensure your pet experiences a peaceful, dignified passing. A required form must be completed before the appointment, allowing us to prepare and guide you through each step with clarity and care. We support families throughout the decision-making process, helping them understand what to expect and how to prepare for the day. For aftercare, the doctor can respectfully transport your pet, or you may choose to bring them to a cremation facility if it is open. A cremation form may also be completed in advance to make the process easier. Our mission is to offer comfort, understanding, and gentle support during this difficult time.
Aftercare Services
At Until We Meet Again Veterinary Hospice & Euthanasia Services, we partner with Pets Forever Memorial to provide respectful aftercare. Families may bring their pet to the facility or request home pickup, with urns and memorial products available separately. Completing forms in advance helps ease the process.
Witness cremation allows families to be present, offering a final goodbye while ensuring their pet is treated with dignity and respect.
Private cremation provides individual cremation, returning your pet’s ashes in a personalized urn to honour their memory.
General cremation is a simple, dignified option where pets are cremated with others and their ashes are respectfully scattered.
